Coaxial ophthalmoscope

Six apertures and 28 focusing lenses give a clear view of the fundus while reducing the corneal reflections that make retinal examination difficult with simpler instruments. This is the ophthalmoscope model used in USMLE clinical skills testing.

MacroView otoscope

Roughly twice the field of view of a standard otoscope, with a wider focal range that makes it easier to bring the tympanic membrane into focus without repositioning. A throat illuminator is built into the head.

Power handle

The nickel cadmium rechargeable handle runs from an IEC plug-compatible charger and converts to C-cell alkaline batteries when mains charging is not practical — useful for home visits and mobile clinics.
